Dr. R. Erik Cantwell was raised in Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2003 with a Bachelor’s in Medical Biology. He then attended dental school at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2007. Dr. Cantwell is dedicated to helping others and providing the best dental care possible. He strives to provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment for his patients. He wants his patients to experience the very best for any dental treatment needed. Dr. Cantwell continues his education monthly and has been a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) since 2003.
Dr. Cantwell and his wife have three sons. When not in the office, Dr. Cantwell enjoys golf, basketball, running, and spending time with his family.

Kim came to Copper Ridge Dental in 2016 and has recently taken over as office manager. She enjoys helping patients learn about their individual insurance coverage and working with them to find the best course of treatment for them and setting up a plan so it can be a comfortable, affordable experience. Kim loves spending time with family, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, and trying her hand at new recipes and crafts she finds on Pinterest.
Jenni – Receptionist
Jenni is thrilled to be “back home” at Copper Ridge Dental! After working as Dr. Webb’s dental assistant for 15 years, Jenni took a 5-year break from the work place to spend more time with her husband and 4 busy children. Jenni is excited to be working upfront and learning a different side of the dental field. When not at the office, she enjoys reading, camping, spending time with her family and winning a good game of cards.
Melissa – Receptionist
Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from Brigham Young University (BYU). She has been with Copper Ridge Dental since 2014. Melissa loves interacting with our patients and working with our awesome dental team. Melissa and her husband have three sons. She enjoys watching her children play sports and drinking Diet Dr. Pepper.
Olivia – Receptionist
Olivia is the newest member of the Copper Ridge Dental team. Olivia enjoys interacting with our patients and getting to know them, and it makes her happy to know that she is helping people improve their smiles. She moved here from Oregon with her husband in 2016 and is a freelance photographer in her spare time.
Chelsea – Dental Assistant
Chelsea completed a dental assisting course at the Jordan Applied Technology Center (JATC). She has been a part of our dental team since 2011. Chelsea loves being around our great ladies every day and making our patients smile. Chelsea and her husband have two beautiful little girls. When not in the office, Chelsea enjoys crafting, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
Jenna – Dental Assistant
Jenna is one of our newer members of the Copper Ridge Dental family. Jenna graduated from BYU Idaho in 2006. Jenna has enjoyed getting to know our amazing patients and strives to make each appointment a comfortable and positive experience. When she has extra time, Jenna loves going to yard sales and craft fairs, reading and watching scary movies. Jenna loves spending time with her 5-year-old daughter and her husband.
Shanna – Dental Assistant
Shanna has been with Copper Ridge Dental since 2009 and works as a chair-side assistant. Shanna enjoys helping patients with any dental concerns and strives to make patients feel as comfortable as possible when they are having any procedure done. In her spare time Shanna enjoys being with her husband and kids, the outdoors, sporting events and going to Target.
Tanya – Dental Assistant
Tanya graduated from the Dental Careers Institute. She has been a part of our dental team since 2001. Tanya brings years of experience to our practice and her goal is to always treat our patients the way she would want to be treated. Tanya loves being a dental assistant and working with people’s smiles every day. She says she could not have handpicked a better dental team to learn and work with. When away from the office, Tanya enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and two girls. She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and being outdoors with family and friends.
Janae –Dental Hygienist
Janae graduated from the Hygiene School at Dixie State University. She has been a member of our dental team for 10 years. Janae loves all the great people she works with. They are her second family. Janae also loves our amazing patients and really enjoys getting to know so many different and wonderful people. Janae is the mother of two very active boys. When not at the office, Janae enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.
Malissa – Dental Hygienist
Malissa studied dental hygiene with local anesthesia at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). She has been with Copper Ridge Dental since 2007. Malissa’s goal is to provide our patients with the tools and knowledge they need to have a healthy mouth. Malissa says that our dental team is like her second family. She has four children and one dog. When not at the office, Malissa enjoys cooking, crafting, swimming, running, and reading.
Addie – Hygiene Assistant
Addie has been working with Copper Ridge Dental since June 2017. Addie attended the dental assisting program at the Jordan Technology Center during her senior year of high school and fell in love with this job. Now Addie is attending Salt Lake Community College to complete her associate degree, while working full time. She plans to go to hygiene school to become a dental hygienist, like Janae, Malissa and Erika. They have inspired her. Addie enjoys traveling and just relaxing at home after long work days.
Erika joined the Copper Ridge Dental team in September 2017. She graduated from Salt Lake Community College with her AAS in Dental Hygiene. Erika enjoys running, reading and watching her 3 boys play soccer.
Lindsey – Hygiene Assistant
Lindsay has worked with our team here at Copper Ridge Dental since 2011. Lindsey has enjoyed the friendships and comradery that we have in our office, among the staff as well as with the patients. When Lindsey is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and her 3 kids, going to Costco and drinking Diet Coke.
